In addition to the health benefits of drinking a cup of tea, we now know that drinking tea can also help increase women’s chances of getting pregnant.

A Boston University study found that women who drank two cups a day while trying to conceive were 27% more likely to get pregnant than nonsippers!

“There are hundreds of beneficial compounds in tea, and it’s possible that one or more of them may play a role in fertility,” speculates lead researcher Elizabeth Hatch, Ph.D., who adds that more research is needed to pinpoint the exact mechanism. ¬†

The study also revealed what not to imbibe when you’re trying to conceive: Daily soda drinkers had a 20% lower chance of adding to their family.
